Meet the Team

Optometrist / Owner

As a local Claremont High School graduate, Dr. Jennifer Kim was born and raised in the Los Angeles area. She graduated Claremont High School class of 2003 and went on to attend UCLA for her Bachelor of Science, majoring in Neuroscience. Dr. Kim continued on to obtain her Doctor of Optometry degree from the UC Berkeley School of Optometry.

It has been her dream to build a practice of her own, providing the highest level of eye care to her local community.

When out of the office, Dr. Kim enjoys playing tennis with her husband and two kids, reading novels, and walking her English Bulldog Winston.

Claudia

Licensed Optician

Claudia is a passionate optician, with nine years of experience, specializing in assisting patients choose fashionable frames that best complement their facial features and lifestyle. Her expertise includes educating patients on lens options, and properly fitting and adjusting frames. She is currently working on, and looks forward to being certified by the American Board of Opticianry.

Outside of Luxe Optometry, she is a wife and mother of three children. She loves to dance, go wine tasting, but most of all to spend time with her family and friends.

Marla

Licensed Optician

Marla is a certified Optician who studied at American Career College in Optical Dispensing. She enjoys working diligently with patients to help select the perfect eyewear that suits their needs. Her experience allows her to deliver knowledgeable information on all luxury products our office provides while striving to create the best service possible.

When she is not assisting patients, Marla is a mother who loves spending quality time with family and friends. She is a sports fan, a music lover, and enjoys traveling.

Brittney

Born and raised in the Inland Empire, Brittney has always called Southern California home. She graduated from Ayala High School in 2009 and later earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of La Verne.

Beyond LUXE Optometry, Brittney enjoys an active and adventurous lifestyle. She spends her free time playing softball, exploring the outdoors, following her favorite sports teams, and pushing her limits through half marathons and taking on challenging hiking trails.

When it’s time to slow down, Brittney enjoys getting lost in a good book and embracing her love of all things spooky and horror. Her curiosity, energy, and genuine love for connecting with people make her a wonderful part of the LUXE Optometry team.
